The latest aerial filming blockbuster provides you a sneak peak of the interior and exterior layout of this exquisite constructure.
Up to March 10th ,2019, Shanghai Planetarium is with 95% civil works, 85% mechanical and electrical works, 100% steel engineering, 70% wall projects, 20% Interior decoration projects, and 70% Exterior projects completed. The overall construction safety is under control and the acceptance rate reaches 100%.
As per the curtain wall projects of Shanghai Planetarium, Shanghai Zhuoou employs new materials to ensure the high durability of the construction. This high-performance materials comprehensively outperform traditional GRC materials, which obtain the advantages of long durability, high plasticity and obvious decorativeness and achieve requirements such as smooth modeling, a sense of science and technology, high quality and stringent specifications.
Shanghai Planetarium with its complex structure is combined with the features of large cantilevers, large spans, large opennings and irregular surfaces. Its structure is extremely irregular in the sense of morphology, materials, and system. Additionally, each part of the structure, such as inverted dome, suspended sphere, round skylight, oozes its own special splendor which matches with architectural designing cocepts and displays the perfect combination of architectual structure and astronomical common sense. Therefore, for the curtain wall works, all the panels are individually customized with hyperbolic shape to achieve a natural and smoothful curving-surface visual effects and each panel is with extended size which can reduce splicing. Zhuoou inspects and measures all the panels strictly to guarantee the accuracy of each panel and to realize the natural transition between the seams, which all service for the goal of presenting a building with natural and exquisite form.

Promotion-The Completion of SP Will Bring The Largest Planetarium
SP is located at Lin’gang Newtown, Pudong new District and at the intersection of Lin’gang Avenue and Huanhu North 3rd Road, with a total land area of 58,602 square meters and a total construction area of 38,164 square meters. It consists of a main building and some auxiliary architectures, such as One-meter Telescope, Solar Tower, Teens Adventure Camps. After the completion, SP will become the largest planetarium in the world.
The“Homeland”, the“Cosmes”, and the“Journey”, these three closely related parts are the main exhibition area of SP.
The “Homeland” exhibitions area starts from the long-lost starry sky and brings you a splendid starry sky view with the lastest and most advanced optical planetarium.
The “Cosmes” pioneeringly and panoramicly analynizes the laws of the universe from the perspectives of “space-time”、 “l(fā)ight”、 “gravity”、 “elements”and “l(fā)ife”.
The “Journey” exhibition area epically dispalys the great journey of human beings’ exploration of the universe.
In addition, special exhibition halls or temporary exhibition halls, such as“China’s Sky Inquiring”, “Planet Paradise”, “UltroHD Multi-functional Dome Cinema”, “Aerial Mars”, will be the supplementary exhibition area.
